What are the theological virtues?
The Catholic theological tradition distinguishes between natural and supernatural virtues, or natural and theological virtues. The theological virtues are gifts that must be infused, they cannot be earned. At the same time, we have to respond to and cooperate with these three gifts of faith, hope, and love in order to truly live the life of virtue we are all called to.
